Role Summary
This is a unique opportunity to develop and lead a product team for our Data collection, Scout, and HX platform. You’ll design customer-centric data products, partner with our other Product leaders from corporate & investor business, and to harmonize on the Company’s product suite and drive initiatives for additional business revenue streams. You’ll engage in cross-functionally collaboration and regularly speak with corporate clients to understand product-market fit and product gaps. You’ll get to showcase your internal and external dashboard skills, influence our business/technical strategies, and help to systematically connect HundredX data to corporate KPIs.
If you’re a strong collaborator who can interface with varying levels of technical fluency from Engineering to Sales, this role could be for you! It’s bonus points if you can communicate technical concepts to colleagues who do not have technical backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
Priorities can change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Understand our business objectives and drive technical product development and strategy to support those objectives.
- Guide the future of our data collection & scout product, and coordinate with Sales, Strategy, Insights, Data Science, and Engineering teams, as well as other Product leaders, and ensure alignment and fulfillment of product roadmaps, architecture, and UX (including new HundredX platform)
- Interface directly with corporate clients and prospects to understand product gaps and growth opportunities.
- Design seamless, customer-centric experiences in our dashboards and in our platform improving ease of use, discoverability, and data
- Engage in architectural discussions, determine tradeoffs, seek to reduce complexity, and drive discussions toward a decision
- Work with Engineering to prioritize roadmap items and solve problems at scale.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and resource allocation across the Product org.
- Ensure all technical practices adhere to regulatory standards and best practices for privacy and security.
- Scale and lead a high-performing, fully-remote team; manage engagement, retention, and performance of those team members.
Qualifications
- Extensive technical background with hands-on experience designing, building, and implementing products, including UX and visual design experience
- Experience interfacing with clients and conducting customer research
- Understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise between technical and business units
- Strong SQL and Excel skills, or equivalent
- Demonstrated success in attracting, managing, and developing stellar technical talent
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of Audience Research, market research and corporate strategies, with experience developing products for Information Services, Data, or SaaS business selling to corporate clients
- Proficiency in open-source technology and experience with the tools needed to handle large, diverse data sets
- Proactive, curious, entrepreneurial-minded and has an opinion on how things are done correctly but is also open to other ideas (strong opinions held loosely)
- Process and systems thinker with the ability to build and execute
- Willing to be patient and embrace an iterative process while continuing to push progress
